Epiphany

To answer their every call,
To forget one's self,
To be dragged in the flow,
For what?
For what you want,
Is just so small.

You give yourself,
Your every bit,
An never question the purpose in it,
And you give it all in,
Until you realize,
For what?
For what you want,
Is so damn small.

Thought you'd never realize,
That it was just another favor,
In their eyes,
'Cause you misjudged them,
That humanity would kick in,
Within their thoughts ofcourse,
Was never such a thing,
And that you believed it was a bliss,
To have them around within this mess,
And for what?
For what you want,
Is so, very small.
